Neighborhood Sports & Games Fall Season 2025 (1st-3rd grade)
Starts Wednesday 8/28/24–11/13/24
*************************************
Neighborhood Youth Sports & Games for 1st through 4th grade is starting up again at Switzer Mesa Campus this fall season!!
Coaches come to your child's school once a week for a full season. Kickball, Capture the flag, intro to flag football (pass, catch and kick), pickle ball, varieties of tag, relay races and dodgeball games (run, throw and dodge). It's the age where we can begin to slowly share activities that naturally introduce competition. Winning and losing is NOT emphasized, but instead, it is downplayed. We seek to improve skills, coordination and confidence. Coaches have a no-shame, no-blame approach but most of all, we have tons of fun!!
Sports & Games is meant to teach fundamentals and the fun of flag football and baseball, in hopes the kids learn to love these sports and be willing to join a team understanding the importance and value of fitness. All the introductory skills needed for these two sports are in the sports and games we play each week.
Space is limited. Register early.
Class Location: Switzer, Mesa Campus 11 weeks
Day: Wednesdays
Time: 1245pm - 130pm
Dates: 8/28/2024–11/13/2024
No class on: (10/9)
